Song For Diabetes

Top Of The Pops!

Shane Board is one of the team members of Adido, the internet branding company based in our Bournemouth offices.

Backed by Universal Records, Shane has just released a pop single on behalf of the charity Diabetes UK. Although Shane is only 20 years old, he has had diabetes since he was 10 years old.

No stranger to performing, Shane raised enough sponsorship and backing to make an EP called "Rescue Me" which was then released by Universal Records in February 2009. He recorded these songs at Jools Hollands studio complex in London and was accompanied by some top musicians - including members of Take That's current backing band!

The CD is available in Tesco Stores across the UK and also as a download from iTunes (just search the iTunes Store for "Shane Board").

All of the proceeds will go towards medical research at Diabetes UK.

It really WAS too snowy to get to work!

February's Competition Results

Congratulations to Sarah Grayer from Dance South West who will shortly receive her prize courtesy of our Bournemouth Office for winning our "St. Valentine's Day Massacre" competition. Last month a large number of you correctly identified that Chicago's notorious St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place on February 14th 1929.

Snow Business Competition

Many people living in villages were completely cut off by February's snow - see Clarendon's Leah and Shellie bravely attempting to find a working bus in Wheatley (above)...
