Client Success Story: Cardionetics
|
 |
|

Cardionetics, based in the Bracknell Clarendon office, has been in business for over 15 years, designing and supplying medical devices with built-in artificial intelligence to assist in the diagnosis of heart disease.
Their ambulatory ECG monitors provide automatic detection, recording and diagnosis of cardiac arrhythmia and have been specially designed for use in general practice, to provide fast, accurate, real time analysis and classification of cardiac arrhythmia.
Adding to their growing list of clients in the Slough and Bracknell area, they recently received their first-ever request to ship a Heart Monitor to a Nigerian Hospital and they hope that this is the first of many orders.

Breakfast Success Seminars
|
 |
|

Despite last year starting under a cloud of economic gloom and uncertainty, many businesses embraced the situation and continued to grow as a result. During last year, successful business have:
· risen to the challenges and looked for new opportunities
· changed and adapted in response to market conditions, diversified or become more niche
· returned to traditional ways of doing business by engaging in the business community and sought out opportunities to raise their profile
· taken a step back from the daily routine to work on their business, identified areas for improvement in sales, marketing, people management, finance and operations
· continued to market their business and explore new ways to market their business
The 2009 Oxford Breakfast Seminars have proved very popular with both attendees and presenters. Feedback highlighted that people enjoyed:
· getting to know other each other and their businesses in an informal way
· the sharing of knowledge, experience and expertise relevant to growing successful businesses
· the opportunity to raise the profile of their business through presenting sessions
Building on the success of the 2009 programme, we are delighted to announce that the 2010 programme will continue at Prama House and, in addition, will be extended to East Point. Full details of the 2010 programme will be announced in early January with the first seminar taking place in February.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the presenters and the attendees for their contribution and support and we look forward to seeing you all at the 2010 Breakfast Success Seminars.

Social Media
|
 |
|

Whilst the Return On Investment discussions on the use of Social Media may continue, more and more businesses are including these techniques as part of their marketing mix. By engaging in new "conversations" and offering helpful advice using these media, many organisations can win new business.
At Clarendon, we want our clients to benefit from this phenomenon, to share your expertise and to offer your services to our network on our shared forums.

Competition Time - "It's Beneath You..."!
|
 |
|

December's Competition Results:
Thanks for all the feedback on the Cross Puzzle competition. Many enjoyed it, commenting that all the clues were easy apart from the answer to ONE DOWN, which was the PRIZE CLUE! "Turkie Roses" was the most inventive entry, but the correct answer was "Turtle Doves".
Click here to see the completed Cross Puzzle and, don't worry, there are only 358 days to go until the next one!
Congratulations to our winner, Roberto Arico from Oregon UK, who will receive his prize courtesy of our Bracknell Office.
January Pantomime Competition:
This month, you can dress up as a pantomime dame. Simply spend your £25 Marks and Spencer voucher on bloomers, petticoats and rouge, and you can look just like Christopher Biggins.
To win, you will need to answer the following question:
"Peter Duncan is the Director of Jack And The Beanstalk, currently playing at The Oxford Playhouse, but which well-known TV programme did he present throughout the early 1980s?"
Email: newsletter@clarendon-enterprise.co.uk and we will choose the winner from the correct entries on Friday January 15th 2010.
