What Are Your Favourite iPhone Apps?

A number of Clarendon clients are using the superb Business Card Reader application on their smartphones, but did you know it uses the technology from our clients ABBYY in the Bracknell Business Centre?

The ABBYY Business Card Reader is a handy application for smartphones, allowing users to transfer contact information from business cards directly to the smartphone address book by using the smartphone camera and ABBYY's text recognition technology.

To add new contacts, users need to simply start the application and take a picture of a business card. The program will scan and "read" this picture, automatically extract contact data from it and enter the data into appropriate fields of the mobile address book.

January 2010 - Snow Pictures

A lot of us were caught out by the snow flurries at the start of this year, but the Clarendon Business Centres were open for their residents throughout.

If you're not already a resident client, did you know that you could have used your nearest Clarendon Centre for the day, rather than staying at home or struggling to your office through the snow?

Use of a modern office with internet access etc could have made all the difference for many people, so please note down the details of your nearest centre - so, as we are expecting snow in February, you'll know where to come!
