Wear It Pink Campaign

In November, the Bournemouth Centre staged a high tea at the Clarendon Enterprise Centre in Aid of the ever popular "Wear It Pink" Campaign.
Our clients raised £71.50 for this important charity who are working to improve breast cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Our clients were treated to a melange of all things pink and edible and encouraged to wear something pink for the occasion.
A huge thank you to our many clients who made a tremendous effort and clearly emptied the fashion shelves of Bournemouth especially for the occasion!

Siamang Sponsor Reading's Premier Rugby Union Club

Bracknell Centre residents, Project Management company Siamang have struck a deal to become a sponsor for Redingensians RFC, Reading's premier Rugby Union club.
Based to the east of Reading, Redingensians field sides from the First XV, through all ages to the Minis.
Managing Director Paul McGovern said. "Siamang decided to embark on this sponsorship for two reasons. Firstly, Redingensians as a club and Rugby as a sport fit tightly with Siamang's company ethos. Siamang strives constantly for improvement, driving our clients toward their goal and getting the best out of the teams we work with."
The senior club puts out five sides most Saturdays and membership is rising, with over 120 senior playing members. This is a great testament to the club in the light of decreasing rugby numbers across the country.
The club has vibrant Mini and Junior Sections with approximately 400 boys and girls playing on Sundays. Over half of the current senior first team players came up through the Junior sections showing how important the young players are to the future of the club.

The First Annual Oxford Christmas Market

The first annual Oxford Christmas Market will open at the Oxford Castle from 10th December 2009 and will run until 20th December 2009.
Like a traditional German market, this will feature 30 custom-built and beautifully decorated wooden stalls, with market traders selling unusual handmade gifts, fair-trade products, and seasonal food and drink.
There will be a lovely Xmas atmosphere with the sound of local choirs singing Christmas carols, colourful Christmas decorations, the aroma of mulled wine and cinnamon mixed in with freshly baked gingerbread and lots of seasonal local food. With special guests every day, including brass bands performing Christmas carols, and a small Victorian carousel to delight your children, there will be something to please everyone!

Competition Time - The Christmas Cross Puzzle Is Back!

November's Competition Results:
We had many correct answers this month and the answer is: "Top Gear Dog is a labradoodle". We also had a very good guess of a "Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier" which actually looks remarkably similar and was an excellent guess.
Congratulations to our winner, Gillian Gelder from LetsCo, who will receive her prize courtesy of our Prama House Office.
December Competition:
We've had literally one request to do another Christmas Cross Puzzle and therefore we are giving in to popular demand! Please complete the attached Cross Puzzle and solve the answer to ONE DOWN.
Email the answer to that clue (ONE DOWN) to win a £25 M&S voucher to spend on the Xmas presents you actually wanted but didn't receive and copious amounts of Alka-Seltzer.

As ever, Clarendon in-house clients will have full access to their offices throughout the Christmas break.
The Clarendon teams will be available and all our offices will be open until 13.00 on Thursday 24 December, reopening again after the Christmas break on Monday 4th January.
Additionally, between Christmas and the New Year, our Prama House, East Point and Bracknell Offices will also be open between 10:00 - 13:00 on:
Tuesday 29 December, Wednesday 30 December, and Thursday 31 December.
