Don't Pay Any Rent For Your Office!
|
 |
|

Okay it's an attention grabbing headline, but actually this is perfectly achievable. For a number of organisations at Clarendon, it is the business won from their new clients that pays their office rent.
One of our clients is a small marketing agency based in Prama House, our office space Oxford:
"Last year, we won three new clients directly from having an office in Prama House. One client came from a neighbouring office and the other two clients met us after introductions from a resident and from the Clarendon team. The revenue from those three new clients paid for our offices for the year!"
An office in Clarendon can also increase your productivity as their team are on hand to help you with your sales lead generation - e.g. helping you with direct mail sales campaigns, for example.
The highly polished impression that both the beautiful office environment and the professional Clarendon team give your clients will also help you close more business.
If you would like an office that wins you more business, call Candy Woodington on 01865 910100 or email: newsletter@clarendon-enterprise.co.uk.

The Fielden Clock
|
 |
|

Have you noticed The Fielden Clock in Clarendon's reception area in Abbey House, our office space Bracknell?
The Fielden Clock was made by Gillett & Johnson and purchased by the proprietor of The Forest Hotel on 25th September 1901. The Forest Hotel was later acquired, as a residence, by Dr Edward Fielden, who lived there until his death in 1945.
In 1958 the building was demolished to make way for a new development including Bracknell College. Bracknell Development Corporation preserved the clock and it was then stored awaiting a new home.
In September 1977 it was decided that the clock should be incorporated into the new development as it was near to its original site.
In the Spring of 1999, the clock was restored to its original condition and colour (Buckingham Green and Gold) by Mr George Print of Bracknell and it now sits in pride of place in the Reception area in Abbey House…

Competition Time - "Death By Chocolate!"
|
 |
|

March's Valentine Competition Results:
Thanks for all of the entries to the "Beware The Ides of March" competition. The correct answer was Mark Antony. There were some interesting wrong entries and this month's "clever-clogs" award goes to the answer "James Purefoy". He is the actor who plays Mark Antony in the epic TV series "Rome"! No prizes, but a round of applause for the guess!
Congratulations to our winner, Brendan Cull from Oxford Business Management Ltd, who will receive the prize courtesy of our East Point Business Centre.
April Competition - "Death By Chocolate"
Now that Easter's out of the way and we've gorged ourselves on chocolate, it reminded us of an episode of TV's Qi where Stephen and the chaps discussed that too much chocolate can be poisonous!
To win a £25 Marks and Spencer voucher, simply answer the following question:
"According to the Qi elves, how much chocolate would an average human being have to consume in order to receive a fatal dose? The closest answer to the actual figure (in pounds) wins the prize!"
Email: newsletter@clarendon-enterprise.co.uk and we will choose the winner from the correct entries on Friday April 16th 2010.
